Weddings

I took a break from shooting weddings after moving back to Canada and having shot many in Australia. I'm keen to get back in after shooting one not long ago here in the valley.
I believe that a couple need to choose a photographer whose style appeals, and whom after meeting...they feel comfortable with.

Fishermen. Indonesia.

I shot these images during a four month trip with Mariette through Thailand and Indonesia in 1996/97.

I love to get off the beaten path and this was one of those times. We stayed in a little fishing village near Padang. Not much there...sparse accommodation and food offerings. You really feel like you've gone back in time. I think these images were made at that location but my memory is a little fuzzy.

Surf Mission

I love the beach, the ocean, the surf, but I haven't surfed since we left Australia almost 8 years ago. Too cold...nuff said. So I try to photograph it whenever I can.
Here is another image taken at Tofino, BC.
